Android 1.5 Cupcake
Android cupcake was launched on 27 April, 2009. The first official name was declared for this version as CupCake.
Some of the major updates in this version were:- Videos upload on YouTube, Pictures uploading to Picasa, Screen, Auto Rotation,Animation Screen Transition
With the release of this version only the Google started naming the Android version with a particular dessert. This is not the first version, but this version came into limelight due to its name and the interests that people showed towards it. As per the rumors it is that at the beginning this version was supposed to be version 1.2, but then later on it was decided as 1.5.
